Human Development, Safety, Food and Nutrition and Relationships
Total Health is a series of three blackline masters designed as a complete health program for primary students. All levels include sections about Human Development, Safety, Food and Nutrition, and Relationships. Total health (Ages 5-7) includes the section of Community Health, while Total Health (Ages 11+) includes Media. A wide variety of age-appropriate and relevant activities will engage the students. Topic points for student discussion and website research activities for both teacher and students are prominent features. The lessons only require easily-accessed equipment or resources. All levels include important concepts such as ‘traffic light’ food labelling and how to work well in groups, while (Ages 8–10 and Ages 11+) include bullying, and (Ages 11+) includes puberty, stereotypes, and body image.
