Tomasito the humpback calf is very, very excited. He's off with his mum and friend Jonas to migrate from his home in Antarctica, up the east coast of Australia and on to the warm waters of the Great Barrier Reef. He decides to share his adventures by writing postcards to his friend Wally, who is travelling up Australia's west coast.
Join Tomasito as he crosses Bass Strait, meets up with the dangerous orca, gets tangled in a fishing net and a plastic bag, and gets helped by some humans when he is stranded on a beach. Share his delight when he performs acrobatics for the humans and finally reaches the safety of a Great Barrier Reef lagoon and celebrates his birthday - no longer a baby but a young whale ready to get on with life.
