With this Transceiver users can unlock some very cool capabilities like collecting data from some distant sensor, or remote-controlling hardware. It allows users to send and receive messages to other transceivers up to 100m away. Simply connect to a PiicoDev-compatible development board to begin sending and receiving data. For help with this users can look at the getting started guide below for more information.

Getting Started Guide.

Daisy chain the Transceiver with other PiicoDev modules to create a more complex project. Use the provided Python / MicroPython library that simplifies setting up the transceiver and sending data. Transceivers will broadcast by default and can be configured with a group or address to allow for direct messaging to only intended recipients. That's especially useful for projects with multiple Transceivers where there may be a lot of messages going back and forth.

The PiicoDev Transceiver uses a HopeRF RFM69HCW radio operating at 915MHz to communicate. The on-board antenna is designed right into the PCB - for best performance, keep the antenna way from metal enclosures or other sources of interference.
