This Teaching Guide contains teaching notes on reading nonfiction and writing nonfiction for each title in Go Facts - Oceans. The lessons are structured to assist with the teaching of reading and writing information reports systematically. There are two blackline masters for each book, as well as six others which can be used for all the books. The teaching plan is flexible, allowing numerous possibilities for practice of each step of the writing process. Throughout, there is strong teacher support including detailed notes showing how to actively model strategies in each step of the writing process.
